When printing watermark "Draft", 1 pg doc, it prints "D A T or " R

I have a one page document that I have inserted a watermark of "DRAFT" in.
I can see it on screen and in printpreview. First time it prints it comes
out D_A_T, the second time _R_F_.
How do I correct?

Clear the check box for "Semitransparent" in the Watermark dialog.

Try: Format > Background > printed Watermark, uncheck Semitransparent.
