Help ! I've suddenly started getting the message : the server timed out. The
current request did not complete succesfully. I don't have a large webite,
and had no problems until a couple of hours ago. I've looked through a few
discussion groups but can't find the answer.

Perhaps it is a heavy traffic time on your server and you are competing for
bandwidth with too many others. I'd contact the server and let them know you
are timing out and see what they can do for you,

Hi,

It's an "unsolved mystery" for me as well. We have a leased line with good
connection quality and nothing wrong with hosting server or the local site,
plus our site is relatively small. But we got the error message
consistently.

My workaround is to publish a few files each time instead of the entire web
and that solve the problem.
