I have windows XP Home with Office XP and after a resent format and reinstall
I find now that when attempting to save a word document a box appears stating
that Some features of this document are not supported in Word 6.0/95. The
consequence is the lose of things like hyperlinks, some colours and so on.
I have all the latest updates for both the OS and office and have not placed
or created any documents other than those that were on my computer before the
format.
Any guidence greatly appreciated as I am IT student and this problem is
prevewnting me from completing assessment reports that need to be saved as
they are formatted.
Cheers Sherry

In Word, click on Tools | Options | Save | Save Word files as: Word
Document (*.doc) | OK.

It sounds like you are trying to save it as a Word 6.0/95 file. Try "Save
As" and then make sure the "Save as type:" is "Word Document *.Doc" and see
if that helps.

Steven.
