when saving docs getting error " selected drive not in use...."

When trying to save docs on a CD-R disk get error mentioned above. When
using a DVD+R disk get "incorrect function". Disk drive work find for
installation disk and others. Any suggestion?

Even if this is occurring while saving Reports from Access, it doesn't
sound like an Access problem. You might try posting to a Windows XP (or
whatever) newsgroup.
