When saving Visio Drawing as wmf only part of the drawing's saved

When I save a Visio Drawing as wmf and import into Word only part of the
drawing's saved, e.g.the top left corner. I've also tried saving the drawing
as an Enhanced Metafile and then importing, in this instance the imported
drawing is corrupted.
I use Visio Professional 2002 SR-1 and import into Word 2002. My Visio
(.vsd) file is large, approx. 1MB, the exported wmf about 1.6MB and the emf
about 15MB

Colin,

A few ideas:

- Have you tried Edit > Select All before exporting? Or hitting Esc first to
deselect all? I think Visio exports the selection, if one exists. Otherwise
it exports the whole drawing.
- Are any of the shapes marked as non-printing, or are they assigned to a
non-printing layer?
- Are any of the shapes on a background page, or a locked layer?
