When Searching for a Contact in BCM, none appear but the count sho

When searching for "Bob Wilson" (who I know is in the database) in the BCM
search window (under Business Contacts in Business Contact Manager), it give
me a bland screen and says "There are no items to show in this view. Double
Click here to create a new Business Contact"....However, I see the contact
count on the lower left hand corner showing "1 item". If i search again,
using the exact same method, "Bob Wilson" contact will show up! Sometimes i
have to do this 2, 3, or 4 times for the contact info to show....

Any ideas? If so, I need specific instruction as I'm not an IT guy (I just
play one at our small company).
