does anyone know how to set up when sending a new email you can type a couple
letters of the email address and the rest will appear

HI,
1. Open Outlook
2. TOOLS | OPTIONS | EMAIL OPTIONS | ADVANCED EMAIL OPTIONS
3. Check if the "Suggest Names while completing To, Cc and Bcc fields" is
activatet.

You need Outlook 2002 or 2003 for this. Tools>Options>E-mail
Options>Advanced E-mail Options>Suggest names...
