When "sending something as an attachment" my e-mail body copy is .

In Outlook When I send a file as an attachment the body copy of the e-mail is
replaced with <<...>> - so it looks like I've sent no e-mail with the
attachment. This is only the case in HTML or Rich text e-mails... any ideas?
