When to use My work/my task, Timesheet and administrative time?

Hope someone can clarify
We use my work/my task for recording actual work spent on a task
we use Plan adm time with approval for vacation, sickleave etc.
But what is the intended use of Timesheet. They have both adm time and
my work?? They are not approval by PM but by timehseetmanager -
Any good article exaples, please let me know
