The MS project printing functions in Project 2003 are still very basic. It is
hard to print ranges of dates, without spending a long time previewing and
going around. Never mind printing fitting to pages or reports. In general the
printing functionality needs MS talents to dedicate some real time to fix it.
I think there are so many areas that are unacceptable and
cumbersome/unreliable(don't print what it is supposed to print)... that it
needs real work...
Instead of another patch release why MS does not wait a couple of years and
really fixes this? We will all be thankful.

However, i'm not sure what you mean by it being "hard to print a range of
dates" - i find the timescale settings under file / print seem to work fine.
