Even in the latest, greatest version of Outlook (2003), the MESSAGE RULES and
the ADDRESS BOOK suck.
For instance: Instead of a message rule being able to reference a Group from
the address book, it instead tries to insert every entry from the group into
the message rule, which is too big. In my case, I want e-mail from my Friends
& Family to go to my "Friends and family" folder. There are too many entries
for this to work properly.
Second, WHY oh WHY cannot I simply right-click on somebody's name, and say
"Add to address Book"?
The best, would be, I get an e-mail from my friend who is saying, "My e-mail
address is changed." I should be able to Right-click, say, Add to address
book under "Friends & Family", and from THEN ON, whenever I get an e-mail
from their new address, it goes into that folder in my inbox.
Why does the address book not scroll entries as I move the scroll bar?
Why does the exchange server LIMIT THE LENGTH of how many rules I can set
up!?!?!?!
There are a myriad of other prlblems but I am a busy man so I won't go into
them.
I hope this message doesn't go into a dark void where it will be promptly
ignored.
