Where are my deleted msgs going?

I have looked in the deleted box, and they are not there.
If I do a search, it shows them there.
I dont get it.

Change your view, go to VIEW / CURRENT VIEW and make sure
MESSAGE (just messages) is checked...

Change your view for the Deleted Items folder to show all messages.
