Where are updates for Office v X

We've just bought a package called Microsoft Office v. X because we need to be able produce Powerpoint presentations, and wonder if there are any updates for this software - you often hear how defective Microsoft software is, and that it needs to be kept updated?

There doesn't seem to be any update facility (sorry, we are new to MS software, being Apple users since Apple II).

Anybody know if we need updates, and if so

This is a pretty old version of Office, and MS has ended formal support
for it, but the last combo updater 10.1.9 is still available.
