You will find them on older versions of Office. Office 2003 and 2007 does not have them anymore. Like JoAnn asked which version of Office are you using.

I thought 2003 still did? I didn't use them and I'm now using 2007 so I
don't remember.

Thank you :) I gave up on the assistant years ago. I lost Scribbles and I
didn't like any of the others.

It was not even an option on my Office 2003. It is still there in Office 2000 that is on my W2K system

Did you do a customized setup and checked to install it during setup?
The assistants were not removed until Office 2007

Just out of curiosity I run the install of Off2003 unto my test computer just before. I don't know but running the customize setup and carefully checking everything nothing showed up as far as the Office assistant(s). I then removed it and run the install as per default and again nothing,
Maybe I am missing something but for sure that it does not show up with my O2K3 version 11.8120.8122 SP2

Hi Peter,

In Office 2003 Setup, Add or Remove Features, check the Advanced options choice and the 'Office Assitant' feature is under 'Office
Shared Features.

When Microsoft released Office 2003 they produced three videos. They used to
be easy to find on the MS site but I can't find them now.

But if you go to youtube and search for "clippy gets clipped" or "clippy
faces facts" you'll find them. Very funny.

Two best lines are
- Clippy: "You know BOB? Bob's a friend of mine."
and
- Clippy's annoying little brother: "It looks like you're writing a resume."

Funny stuff.
