They are called keyboard shortcuts, you will find them in HELP,
but they are hard to look at there because you can only see a

Where to see a list of functions in Excel
if you see Fx on your toolbar then click on that then choose
"All" for the category, if you click on a function you will see a little
syntax below. using SHIFT+F1 or dragging the [?] to an item
does not help you much with this particular dialog box.
In HELP if you type in Function you will get a list of cateogries
and can work from there.
If you would like a working workbook with many of the builtin Functions
shown as examples see

definitely download and maintain on your computer, the workbook
has 157+ sheets each with an explanation and example of an Excel function.

I'd like to find a list or table of all the various functions/commands and
the keystroke commands. By that I mean when you hit CNTRL + ; it give
today's date. Other things like that. Is there a list someplace?
