If you have an animation editor, like Animation Shop or GIF Contruction Set, and
if you have an image editor like Pain Shop Pro (comes with Animation Shop) you
can easily create simple and attractive animations. Think of the celluloid
frames that Disney artists used to create. About 6 -12 images of a butterfly
with its wings in different positions can be combined to make an animated GIF.
The hard part is creating those twelve images.
I'm just wondering, were you watching the butterfly or were you paying attention
to the content of the presentation? Animated GIF's can be cute, but they can
also distract the audience and diminish the impact of the message. A soft
stationary image of a butterfly in the background might be a better choice.
