Where did my cursor go??

Help!! The cursor is no longer visible when typing notes within contacts,
appointments and the Notes program also. As a side note (bug?) when the notes
field in a contact gets full (even in full screen mode) the scroll function
doesn't seem to move to the final lines of note.
