Where did my drop down menus go???

Hi

Sometimes in access 2000 if I open a database the only drop down menus
are File, Windows and Help. The only options under File are "open'
and "exit". I need the "Tools" menu so I can "save as previous
version" i.e. access 97.

Can anyone help?

Hi,

sounds like you have startup options set to not display
the default menus. Try holding down the SHIFT key when
you open the database.
