Where did the oval mats for photos go in Publisher 2003? It was i.

I put an oval mat or frame around a photo of my Granddaughter in August when
she was here, before I updated from Publisher 2000 to Publisher 2003. I
guess I could have got the program wrong, but the rectangular mat/frame for
the other one is in 2003. It was a frame with stars and the moon in a black
oval mat and the photo went under it. Now I can't find the frame to use for
another photo, and I stupidly did not save the frame in my objects file.

Have I got the wrong program?

I think you do have the wrong program. I have Pub 2000 and it's not there.
Sorry.

I believe she is thinking of a different program. Publisher doesn't save as an
object, image programs do...

Thank you very much, JoAnn, I probably did get the program wrong.

Thanks for answering me

Creating Oval pictures in Publisher 2000 by Brian Kvalheim

1. Open Microsoft Publisher 2000
2. Go to Insert > Picture > New Drawing
3. On the bottom toolbar, go to AutoShapes > Basic Shapes > Oval
4. Draw an Oval in the drawing box that is shown
5. Right Click on the Oval and go to Format AutoShape
6. Color and Lines Tab > Fill Color change to Fill Effects
7. In the Fill Effects dialog, go to the Picture Tab > Select Picture
8. Click Ok > Click Ok then click anywhere in the background of your

Thank you Mary

I must have used a different program. I did have an old version of
PhotoShop Album on my computer before I upgraded to Publisher 2003. I didn't
put it back on.

That must be it.

Thanks a lot.

It's easy sometimes to get programs confused if you don't work with them
often.
