Where do I find a circle shape with V or X in middle?

My boss has dumped this recreate task on my shoulders and I have been up all
night learning Visio, however I am stuck with this rather simple one:

Where do I find a shape which is;
a circle with V in the middle
a circle with X in the middle.

Have tried text but it just doesn't look right, I know they exist because
the image I am copying has them

Thanks.

In Visio 2003, menu
File, Shapes, Block Diagram, Basic shapes.
Alternatively above in the Shapes Window, in the Search for Shapes text box,
search for circles.
I have looked for an elegant way to replace the "x" with a "v", but I
havenet found any.

Draw a circle using either the circle drawing tool on the toolbar (you
may have to make that visible - View menu) or use the circle shape in
the basic shapes stencil.
Then double-click the shape to edit its text and add an X or V. You
will then have to modify the text formatting to get the X or V in the
right place.

Or if you want the X or V to be drawn from lines then use the line
tool. You may then need to group the shapes.
