where do i find blank templates for avery 8161?

In Word 2003 it's Tools|Letters and Mailings|Envelopes and Labels, then
click on the label box to get a list.

In other Word versions the location is similar. TomS

Tools > Letters & Mailings > Envelopes & Labels > Labels.
Click the Options button. Make sure the "Printer information" is set to
Laser & ink jet, and the "Label products" box is set to Avery Standard
(these are the defaults). Select 8161 from the list of product numbers, and
click OK. Back in the labels dialog, click the New Document button. In the
document, if you don't see faint lines around the labels, click Table > Show
Gridlines. Save that as a template (*.dot) file if you want.
