Where do I get Excel Add-Ins?

Does anybody know where I get add-ins for my version of Office v.X for
the Mac? I have a limited student version and am not sure where I am
supposed to get the regular add-ins. I am most interested in the
solver, and maybe the fourier series (fft) functions. Thank-you for your
help! I can't find my original installation CD, is that where they are?

Solver is indeed on your original install disk, along with the
Analysis Toolpak Add-in which contains fft functions.

You can call MS for a replacement disk. See

Your student version, AFAIK, should not be limited in anything other
than the license (IIRC, it limits resale).

Hi David,

As J.E. pointed out, to install the add-ins run the Value Pack installer
located on the installer CD.

After you run the value pack installer you will need to run any update
installers again. You will have troubles if you don't.

Also, use Disk Utility First Aid to repair permissions after you run the
updates.
