where do i locate outlook automplete file on vista

R

Rohit Chadha

trying to copy my autocomplete nk.2 file from old xp machine to new vista
machine. The instructions for xp do not work for vista

http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/HA011394511033.aspx?pid=CH010496931033

It tells you to "On the computer with the saved AutoComplete names, go to
drive:\Documents and Settings\user name\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook. "

In Vista when you get to Application Data folder there is NO Microsoft
folder ie the address tree is different it seems.

KInd regards

From http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/filepath.htm:

It's at C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Outlook. The shortcut to
get there is
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Outlook

Or more simply %AppData%\Microsoft\Outlook
