Where does a writer sign a memo, by his name at the top?

I typed and printed a memo to my boss, do I sign my name, intials or neither
and do I sign it at the top by my name?

I normally type at the bottom. I also put my name at the bottom
although it is at the top as well. But please be aware that I am in the
UK and you must be in USA so customs may be different.

You didn't say what part of the world you're in, but around here memos are
not usually signed. However, you should follow the standard practice at
your place of work.
