where does outlook store emails

Hello, I'm performimg data recovery for a client who trashed his hard drive.
I'm able to see all his files and recover them to another disk. What I need
to know is where does Outlook store emails and its address book?

Outlook stores information in a personal folder (.pst) file. Unless of
course you have an Exchange server then the data is stored on the server. If
not then it is stored in .pst file. When you search the harddrive remember
to check for hidden files.
