where can i get quicktime decompressor for win2k.
is it free?
i want to import a mpg4 into quicktime

Do you mean you want to insert an MPEG4 into PowerPoint?

If so, why do you need a QuickTime decompressor? Are you receiving an error
message?

If so, you might want to be aware that QuickTime and PPT don't get along

The message is "YOU NEED QUICKTIME DECOMPRESSOR TO VIEW THIS FILE" or in
that manner...

working here.

Is MPEG4 a QuickTime format? I mean, does it use QT compression? If you have
another option for a different compression codec when you render the video,
I'd use it instead. Or try MPEG1 instead of MPEG4 -- it's more universal and
will probably cause you fewer problems.
