Where is address book on XP Pro?

Where can I find the address book used by Outlook on a machine running Windows XP Pro? Do I
understand correctly that it's a ".pab" file, or maybe a ".wab" file?

Outlook hasn't used PAB files for years - and WAB files are for Outlook
Express. Your address book is simply a view of your contacts folders - all
your addresses should be in Contacts. What problems are you having, and what
version of Outlook do you use?
