Where is Happy Face ?

T

tmb

I use PP2k... and I remember using a Happy Face in a drawing... now I can't
find it.

It doesn't seem to be in clip art...

Can anyone remind me where I can find the Happy Face?

I was able to resize it to use as a head on a character.

thanks.

Actually they're talking about a
happy face that you can insert from one
of the FP toolbars, and dang if I can't find it.

if you mean like the ASCII art e.g.: :) I think you're thinking of MS Word - i
don't know if you can do this specific thing in FP but Insert > Symbol will let
you put in things like the Trademark (TM) or copyright (C) kind of symbols etc

but the smiley face thing doesn't seem to be able to be done (in MS Word this is
under Tools > Auto Correct)

There is no eqivalent command in Frontpage that I can see.

further to Kathleens reply, I think you need the font family Times New Roman,
sub-set "Miscellaneous Dingbats" but otherwise go Insert >> Symbol and search
through all the characters.

I don't think there is a "shortcut" to do it every time. in Word, if you put in
:) you get the smiley face automatically if it is set up in the AutoCorrect
options in word.
same with the other basic faces: :-( :-| etc.

what do you mean "private use area"??
