For Vista: Right click on My Computer, choose Properties, choose System
Protection. Don't have an XP system here at the moment but the path is
somewhat similar if I remember right.

If this is in regard to Outlook, System Restore will *not* restore your
Outlook data - only system data.

For XP SP3 click on START, Help and Support. Then click on "Performance and
maintenance". Next go to "Using system restore to undue changes". You can
then use the system restore wizard to restore to a prior date that has a
valid restore point. You will see them highlighted in the calendar in the
wizard. But as the previous post says, it only restores windows setting, and
doesn't do anything to Outlook.

There is a System Restore tab there, but you can't start a system restore
there, it seems. Control Panel>Performance and Maintenance>System Restore
(in the See Also) section at left.
