Where is the Line Eraser on Microsoft Word?

There is an eraser tool on the Tables and Borders toolbar. It can erase cell
borders or cell boundaries (resulting in merged cells) depending on
formatting.

Knowing which version of Word you're using and what type of "line" you're
trying to erase might be somewhat helpful to anyone who would be willing to
reply.

In general, though, the only "eraser tool" in Word is on the Tables &
Borders toolbar and it can be used only to erase the borders of table cells.
Any other type of "line" has to be dealt with in a way specific to what type
of "line" it is. Until you disclose that it would be an exercise in futility
to speculate as to how to remove it.
