Where MSOffice stores data?

Hello,
Where MsOffice keeps the data such as the words user adds to the
dictionary?
I need to preserve that and move to the new Windows/MsOffice installation.
Thanks,
Jack

Best to ask the experts in an MS Word newsgroup.

Search for a file named Custom.dic. Mine's located here.

C:\Documents and Settings\Nepatsfan\Application Data\Microsoft\UProof

Good luck

Each "User" has own specific function in Docs & Settings\User etc. Look in
there.

Annoyingly, MS likes to "hide" where it puts things (eg on Start menu,
right-click Properties to see where an executable is, and it blandly tells
you "Microsoft Office (version)". MS likes to keep the enemy confused - the
enemy being of course, its paying customers.
