Where's the zero gone?

I have been using my Excell database for the last three months with n
problems.

Recently, in the column where I have to type in a telephone number
which commences with "0", e.g. 017723-, the 0 is shown on the scree
when I type, but when I press RETURN or TAB the 0 is removed.

I have no problem when I press 0 in any other situation, so thi
discounts both 0 keys sticking.

Any suggestions please
