which formula to use?

I am trying to use a formula to work out students age.
I have their D.O.B in a seperate cell and want excel to
work out the difference between the current date and the
students DOB to give me a figure for their age. Any idea
how to go about doing this?

Here is a formula lifted stragight from Chip's site

=DATEDIF(A1,NOW(),"y") & " years, " & DATEDIF(A1,NOW(),"ym") & " months, " &

assuming the birth date is in cell "a1" the formula would be =(NOW()-A1)/365
