Which group to contract out Access work ?

Which is the best group to contact Access experts who can work on several
database issues

This is for a client that needs help with several Access database problems

The database was developed by someone that left their company some time ago
and it has several problems, from drop down lists for field entries that
don't work at all, to the fact that the program crashes with error messages
and fields then fill up with "error" and the machine has to be restarted

The database has about 2700 entries with about 50 fields

Once we fix the database to be reliable the next step is to import data from
an xml webpage form

Ultimately this system will be replaced with MS Great Plains product

Thanks for your help
Chris

Are you looking to hire someone for this work? Or, are you wantingto post
questions that can be answered in this newsgroup?

If the former; post back with info on how you might be contacted (be sure to
munge any email address that you would give).

If the latter, ask away!

I think this database has so many problems that it might be easier to send
it to someone who can fix it rather than try to work through one problem at
a time without knowing what we are doing

As the company apparently does not have anyone doing regular maintenance we
are going to start today by examining system logs and updates, antivirus etc
This may help identify some of the issues with Access or may not
If everything else is ok then it is something within Access that is causing
the problems, this may be by bad programming etc, apparently some of the
problems have always been there...

We have been supporting MS products since DOS days, but we don't have an
Access expert
Thanks
