Which is the best Spam stopper ???

Hello all,

I've had it with spam !!!! I receive way to much each day and it has to
stop. I don't have an anti-spam program and it's time I get one. I use
Office XP (Outlook 2002) on my PC running XP Home. I use this for my home
office PC and the spam is really taking a toll on my incoming emails. I have
to delete so many and every once in a while I'll accidentally delete a
"real" email.

So that's why I've come here. To ask you guys and gals (the experts) for the
best utility to stop Spam. Budget is a concern, but stopping the spam is a
bigger concern. If there's anything out there cheap that will do the
trick...great. If not, I'm willing to do what it takes at this point.

Thanks in advance for any and all advice on the best "Spam Stopper".

I dumped it but Spam Pal worked great. Only thing I didn 't like was
setting OL to retrieve the mail through the Spam Pal server but caught 99%
of the spam.

Maybe I should have included that convenience is a BIG factor for me. I want
something that will work great and is easy to use. I know that might be
asking a bit much, but I'd be willing to pay a little more for something
like that.

Thanks for the help.

PopFile. Free, open source. Works great. My statistics show that it
is stopping 99.7% of spam with 0 false positives, and I get a lot of
spam about 5:1 to ham.
