Which Project Product?

Hi,
We are a small team of 3 people. Each of us want to use Project for
different needs and thus would like to constantly update/view the required
information in it. However we are not able to decide on the configuration
that will be suitable for us. For example , should we go for 3 Project
Professional + 1 Project Server OR 1 Project Professional+2 Web Access
Clients+1 Project Server etc?

Could someone please guide us in this direction.

Your help would be highly appreciated.

For a total of three people scheduling, Project server is overkill. So if
you don't need project server get three copies of Project Standard. Project
Professional is exactly the same except it offers compatibility with Project
Server.

If you are part of a larger organisation talk to other teams to determine if
Project Server is a possibility. If not get Project Standard: its cheaper!

Thank you Rod for taking the time to reply.

As far as we know, with Standard, we all cannot simultaneously work on the
same project file which we see as a limitation in collaboration between us.

Any suggestions?

Hi,

No product in the Project family allows simultaneous update by more than 1
user.
That is, No, none at all, sorry.
