Which Upgrade Do I Need?

I'm visiting relatives and trying to upgrade their 2 year old iMac and
all the applications on it.

Just upgraded their OS to 10.3.6.

When I check their version of M/S Office, I see that Entourage, Excel,
etc., are all at version 10.0.0

I went to Mactopia and found three possibile downloads:

Office 2001

Office v. X

Office 2004.

I thought I needed v. X, so downloaded and tried to run it but got the
alert message: Office 10.1.6 Update could not locate the correct
version of Office on your machine. Please see the requirements on the
download page to ensure you are running the correct update for your
version of Office.

Would some kind soul please steer me in he right direction? Which
version do I need?

That's the one you should install. If the updater doesn't detect Office,
it might be a different isue. Try using DiskUtility to repair
permissions on the drive before launching the updater.
