Which Version Should I Choose??

I'm an avid Office user. I have 97, 2000 Premium, XP Pro, and 2003 Pro in
my "collection". My mother just came across a computer with Windows 2000 on
it and some decent ram. Of the first three (97, 2000, xp), which one would
work fine on her computer? I don't want to put XP on there if it'll bog
down her system too much.

Read the box and compare the stated hardware requirements with the
capabilities of your mothers PC.

FWIW, I'm using Office 2k on w2kPro and have no problems.
OTOH I find the speed thing is very relative. I run Of2k on my wife's XP m/c and am
impressed with the difference and, at work, we upgraded to Of'03/XP from '97/NT4 and I was
"blown away".
