In the Microsoft Office Project Server 2003 Small-Scale Installation
guide, there is a diagram that shows:
App Server: Windows Server 2003 with Project Server & SharePoint
Services
Database Server: Windows Server 2000 & SQL Server 2000
Is it mandatory that the database server be running the Windows Server
2000 OS or is that a minimum? In other words, can Windows Server 2003
be run successfully on both or is it preferred that Windows Server 2000
run on the database server? Also, is SQL Server 2000 the most current
or can you run a later version on the database server (and again with
which Windows Server version)?
Thanks,
