while i'm asking ??s....i keep getting duplicate emails...

i have rules set up to sort incoming emails into folders
but a lot of them seem to duplicate themselves and either
end up in the deleted or inbox folders. any idea why this
is happening? it's not a life or death situation, more of
a minor pita. tia!
