I'm using Outlook 2003 on XP Pro and over the last week Outlook will
intermittently download emails I have deleted from a few days to over a week
ago. I have de-selected save emails on the server (which was only set to 2
days previously) and have disable McAfee SpamKiller in case that was the
cause and it will still do it off and on.
Maybe some related problems that cropped up at the same time were IE 6 not
saving the font size I had specified and sometimes I will close Outlook but
the tray icon will remain and in the windows ask manager processes screen
OUTLOOK.EXE will still be running and my processor will spike every couple of
seconds until I end the process.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

PS. Why do I have so many problems trying to go from forum to forum here?
Most times if I pick another section or application forum to go to it will
lockup that page until I end the web page.
