Why am I losing contact records from my PDA/Outlook?

For some reason, I am losing my contact records. It seems to be contacts I
haven't used for 6 months or more. I have been using PDA's since 1998 and
this has never happened before the purchase of a Dellx50 this year and the
upgrade to Office 2003. This put's me in a terrible predicament, as I store
notes on each of my contacts. I have lost some pretty valuable information.

Help!
