French accent user
I use Outlook (Office 2003) for my email and I frequently write in French,
with accented letters. I sometimes receive emails from French correspondents
in which the accented letters are distorted (for instance, é will appear as
i). Sometimes my correspondents cannot read correct accented letters in my
own emails. I have tried everything to solve this problem--even communicating
extensively with Microsoft technical support--without success. If anyone out
there has a solution to this problem, it would be tremendously appreciated.
