Why are my attachments not sending to some email recipients?

When sending attachments (Word, Excel or PDF files) some of the recipients
are not receiving the attachment. Why is this happening and what settings do
I have to adjust to resolve this problem?

Try setting your message format to plain text (or HTML) and consider
disabling Microsoft Word as your e-mail editor.
