Why are my labels printing out of alignment

L

Liz O'B

When I print labels the names and addresses are not printing within the
label. I have it on the correct label setting but each address moves up a
line and a half until I end up with half the address on one label and half on
the other. Can anyone help?

Perhaps the printer margins don't match the label? Or perhaps the
margins are not set right at all?

I've found this happens when there are extra paragraph marks after
each address in the label. This causes the vertical alignment to be
thrown off. In your document, use the following to remove the extra
paragraph marks and see if that resolves the problem:

- Press Ctrl + H to open Find/Replace
- In the Find text box type: ^p^p
- Leave the Replace text box blank
- Click Replace All

Also, I'm not sure if you're using this tip but to help save your
sheets of labels, I always print my labels on regular paper first.
After it's printed I place the label sheet over the print out, hold
them up to the light and check the alignment.
