why are some of my appointments not showing in the day view

When I create an appointment on my iphone and sync to Outlook 2007 it does
not appear in the day/week/month view. The appointments are all there if i
look at the all appointments or active appointments view.

Any suggestions ?

Apple has screwed up the sync process. Your beef is with them.

Try this: open the event on the iPhone and change it to recurring daily then
end the recurrence on the date of the event before syncing.
