Why arent my slide designs showing up along the side so I can pic.

when i click on the slide design button, nothing shows up along the side
which allows me to look at the different options available. I restarted and
everything and it still isnt showing up...any suggestions?

Have you saved the design template as a .pot file?

To do that, create your design template (using your slide masters - this
won't work if your simply using regulars slides to hold your design). Click
File > Save As.

In the Save as Type drop down menu select Design Template. The file will be
automatically saved in your windows Template folder. The next time you open
up PowerPoint the Design will appear in the Task Pane at the right.

Its nothing that I have created.. Its the design templates that should
already be there. The boxes are blank but when i slide my mouse over it it
gives me the name of the template.
