Any file that I attempt to open says that it is not available. Also, upon
closing Word, I am always asked if i want to replace the Normal file...Help???

That's not normal behavior. I'd run an up to date antivirus program asap.
You may get a better answer from a Word newsgroup. This newsgroup is devoted
to Microsoft Access databases. You are much more likely to find an answer in
a group devoted to your problem.

As Arvin said, you'll get a better answer in the Word newsgroup, but
it sounds to me like a corrupted Normal.dot file. If you have no
special macros that you need to keep. you can try searching for and
renaming your Normal.dot file. Word will create a new one when it
starts, and that just may clear up your problem.
