Why can't I double-click items in PowerPoint 2003 anymore?

I've just upgraded to Office 2003 and I can't double-click items without
going through the format oject/shape/text, in the pull down menu.

I've checked my security level which is at low.

Do you have any add-ins loaded? Which ones? Does this behavior continue
after you unload them?

No I don't have any Add-ins, but I do have Swift Point Player installed to
use Flash SWF files in PowerPoint. I'll try removing that, but I'm sure this
was happening before I installed it.

Is this a software conflict problem?

Thanks Bill

I don't know, it may be. If there is something grabbing the single click
for evaluation, it may be defeating the double-click.

Did unloading SwiftPoint fix this issue?

Thank you!!!! I had the same problem, and it was driving me nuts! I too had
downloaded the Swift Point Player. Once I uninstalled it, everything worked
again.
