why can't I download templates

I have always been able to download clip art but I cannot seem to find any
way to down load templates. Can you help

Start by emptying your temporary cache, in Internet Explorer, tools, Internet
Options, delete files.
Check to be sure the Media control is enabled, in Internet Explorer, tools,
manage add-ons.
In the Show, expand to "Add-ons that have been used by Internet Explorer",
scroll down to Microsoft Office Template and Media Control." Enable the control
if it says disabled.

Add the Microsoft Office Online Web site to your list of trusted sites:

On the Tools menu in Internet Explorer, click Internet Options, and then click
the Security tab.
Click the Trusted Sites icon, and then click Sites.
Clear the Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone check
box.
In the Add this Web site to the zone box, type http://office.microsoft.com, and
then click Add.
Click OK twice.

I had the same question. Thanks for the answer but why did I have to go
through all that! not very user friendly!

OOPS! Spoke too soon. Got to the template page but still can't download.
Told me to try again later or make sure I was connected to the
internet...I'll try again later!
